The CARES Act Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund (HEERF) provides funding to institutions for emergency financial aid grants to students whose lives have been disrupted by the coronavirus pandemic. Below is Nouvelle Institute initial 30-Day report.

With regard to the CARES Act Section 18004(a) (1), Nouvelle Institute acknowledges and assures that:

  1. A signed Certification and Agreement was returned to the Department of Education on April 14, 2020 with the intention of using 50% of the funds received to provide Emergency Financial Aid Grants to students.
  2. The total amount of funds that Nouvelle Institute received for the benefit of students is $402,510.00.
  3. The total amount of Emergency Financial Aid Grants distributed to students under Section 18004(a)(1) of the Cares Act as the date of submission of May 14, 2020 is $0.
  4. The estimated number of students eligible to participate in programs under Section 484 in Title IV of the Higher Education Act of 1965 and thus eligible to receive Emergency Financial Aid Grants under Section 18004(a)(1) of the CARES Act is 169 students.
  5. As of May 14, 2020 no students have received funding.
  6. Nouvelle Institute had determined that all 169 active students were Eligible to receive the Emergency Aid under 18004 (a)(1) of the Cares Act. Each student has received or will receive a check for $1,000.00 on the first Disbursement. Nouvelle Institute will issue every 2 months check to all active student after until found are depleted.
  7. Nouvelle Institute has created a Guideline for all eligible students, on how the found should be use as part of the disruption of campus operations from the coronavirus.
